Theres a fun movement going on on the VN boards. Obviously lots of middies are upset about the resent patch notes. So in a fun rebel there is going to be a unified invasion of Albion. On October 13th and 14th, Midgardians from across the realms are invited to join the weekend guild "Nerf'd Middies" in the realm of Albion, on the server Tristan. See the vn thread here
Added some new names to the Nidavellir Hero's page thanks to the submissions from Gashe!
Ok, this time I REALLY have the embedded font working. Microsoft has some neat security features that make it so that you can only use EOTs that are set to useable from specific paths, thus the c:\ on a computer in a lab was not the location of this sites EOT files and hence the lack of nifty font tricks. But, after beating my head against the WEFT program for a while, we figured it out. so there it is.
Also threw in some images on the crafting page lists. I still have to fix the crafting banner images. This just goes to show how much cooler Adobe Photo Shop 6 is then PSP 6.
And befor I forget, I updated the Guild page a bit.
Life has been buisy, but I've been updating the Guild News Page, Trimmed up the top banner on all the pages, finally got that damn embedded font to work (for IE 4+ only, unfortunately there's no good solutions for NS 6) The Ormin Lange Bar Brawl was last weekend and it was a blast, I think I lost more gold betting against Catkain then I did paying for prizes.
I Just noticed, I had a bunch of hits today that may have been arround the time that I was doing updates. I applogize if anyone hit some 404 errors in there, Geocities doesn't allow you to overwrite files, so I have to delete the updated files before uploading the new ones. (In todays case, every web page). Anyways, if things look weird on any pages, hold control and press F5 (in IE) this is a Forced Refresh, it will make IE dump it's cache of the page and download a fresh copy.
I'm finally healthy again. back to school, and more updates. Added more images to the History page, and alternated them. it was starting to get a bit one side heavy.
Also, I uploaded the newer housing zone map pages that have the weird margin fixed and the image maps so you can move from one zone to the next.
And last, but definately not least; the new Tavern images are up!
Added links in each of the Housing maps so that you can move from one zone to the next without heading back to the map.
Geocities also appears to have eaten my last update to the housing map pages which fixed the strange left margin distance. I'll upload those fixes next time I get to school.
Also added a few more images to the History page. If anyone has a screen shot of the Glacier Giant dead, let me know. I might just have to grab a Jotun though.

The big news for today. While uploading a bunch of images this morning, I overran my own bandwidth limit and was effectively locked out of my own website. More out of annoyance then anything else I coughed up the $5/month to get 5GB of bandwidth, extra storage, and NO ADDS! So untill I get this whole thing transfered to a real web server (which could happen soon!) this'll have to do.
Added Vandig's and Miri's houses. Also went through the website and made sure it was all HTML 4.1 Transitional Validated. That means IE should be happy with everything, and NetScape should be okay. I'm still not sure about the positioning code and Netscape though. I've heard rummors that IE and Netscape read them differently, so Netscape users may see things looking rather odd. Updated the Promotions page to reflect the new bylaws that Hilgi has posted
More updates to the Guild pages. New Guild News, Rank and Promotion information, And some of our Legends and Lore. Also updated the images on the Crafting page.
A horrible loss has occured! Some miscommunications, and lack of attention and the Guild house has been repo'd! As the saying goes: 'Nothing to unite the forces like a common enemy' and the dwarves of Nidavellir are coming together like never before to raise the great hall again.
Added some more handy Links for a few other interesting sites.
The Housing page has been updated with the brighter maps, and some new layout code. my applogies for anyone running a monitor less then 800x600. Also, new page banners for housing and crafting. it'll take a while to get the rest clipped out and made up and added to the site.
