Hel's Angels
A great time was had by all through out the day of October 12th. Hel's minions gathered in force to destroy the hordes of Hagbui in the furthest reachest of the Vernan Swamps. The same Hagbui had been thought to be all but destroyed, but while Midgard refocused on the issue with the Red Hands, and the increasing frequency of assaults from both Hibernia and Albion, their populations grew and they reinforced their status in the Swamps. But Hel's Angels as the locals called them, came to right this situations. For hours Spirit Masters and their allies bombarded the Hagbui into retreat, below is an image of but a few of the glorious champions; Bjaard, Brynhilda, Burgneroix, Gmizo, Kval, Niellie, Senzor, Nuralcu, Stolime, Theomei, and Zeredze.

Doden's Army

Doden's Army
On the 5th day of October a rumor was heard. The whole of the Albion armies had gathered in the dark dungeon of Dodens. Long ago the dungeon was made, and it's cracks and fissures spread wide. One could, with great skill, and more luck then most have, follow these tunnels and chasms, and find there way out to the barrens of Albion. Midgard tho stands ready. And when the rumor of war presents itself, we waste little time in prepairing for battle. I share with you the view of Doden's Army, amassed in short order, and prepaired to destroy any Albion bastard that deared to show their head out side of Dodens.

The Ormin Lange Championship Bar Brawl
On the 9th day of August, the whole of Ormin Lange did descend apon the Bloodmoon Tavern in Hugginfel. The first ever Ormin Lange Championship Bar Brawl fired off promptly at 2:30, challangers from across the realm came to try for the title. And though many came, and many fought well, only 4 can be Champions, and only 1 can be the Grand Champion.

Armodig, Orgadrac, Mystraon, and Gudur

The battles lasted for four hours. Combatants striving for victory in each of the four divisions. At the end of these strugle stood:

Armodig, Dwarven Healer of the Nidavellir Warclan for the Champion Seer. and Grand Champion Bar Brawler

Orgadrac, Trollen Thane of Birkebeinerne for Champion Viking.

Mystraon, Dwarven Huntress of the Nidavellir Warclan for the Champion Rogue.

Gudur, Dwarven Runemaster of Watchmen of the Bifrostfor the Champion Mystic.

Crazgar's Epic Strugle
It was one of the worst nights for weather in Midgards history. The dense fog, torential rains, and blustering winds did naught to slow down three driven dwarves. Crazgar, aided by Armodig and Snorind dig battle their way through this nights horrid weather to destroy the great Giant of the Swamp and his pet, the Giant Orm.

Armodig, Crazgar, and Snorind

After their successfull assults through the muck, there was much drinking and celebration back at the tavern. Followed by a not so well thought out attack on an Albion Fortress.

The new Nidavellir Tavern
Hard work, determination, an unquenchable thirst for good dwarven ale. All these things came into play as the Nidavellir Warclan toiled endlessly, pillaging over 20 platnium from the enemies of our lands. But time well spent as we now again have a great towering tavern!

New Guild House

The Storming of the Fenrir
Continuing efforts to raise gold for the guild house have been on going. Significant headway has been made in Darkness Falls, Spindlehar, and Varuhlvaheim. This night, after the gates of Darkness Falls had closed, we turned to the fronteer. Finding our riches the the dreaded Yggdra Forest.

Kimra, Kugarin, Nuklora, Ebenthorin, Feridwin

Fenrir Fort

Forming up ap Vindsaul Faste, we marched out into the forest and followed the lake edge to the Fenrir's fort. We fought brave and well, but we could neigh gain access to the inside. And we put down many of their greatest warriors.

Darkness Falls

Later that same night, more dwarves came to return to Darkness Falls where the gold and seals flowed freely.

The Storming of Dodens
Faced with the loss of the tavern, and the current state of the coffers, the Nidavellir Warclan has turned to what it has done best for hundreds of years. Storm the strongholds of our enemies and reap the bounties we find.

Feridwin, Crazgar, Snorind, Ebenthorin, Haragnor, Lady Hilgi

After forming up at Svasvude Faste we met up with Snorind and headed out to the Jamtland Mountains to find the entrance to the cavern. Once inside, Snorind's Kibbie servant met up with us and although quiet, was quite helpfull. For hours Crazgar lead us through that tormented dungeon. But alas our journey did not end so well as we had hoped it would. We fought long and hard, but in the end, out numbered, out armed, and outta power, we were beat back by undead, trolls, black lords, and ane wolves the size of a troll.

But even though we had been forced out earlier then we had wished, we still managed to gather a few hundred gold, and some items that may be of some use. I'm sure we're all looking forward to hunting like this again.

A Horrible Loss!
Due to a misunderstanding with some of the 'financial advisors' at the First Bank of Midgard, the Nidavellir Warclan's Tavern has been reposessed. Dwarven families who had taken residence in the Tavern have been safely moved to neighbooring Warclan houses. Please contact any officer of the Warclan in person, or catch up on the rebuilding plans at the Forum.

New Guild housing!
The new Guild house and many member houses have been constructed! See Housing for locations.
